Simple roasted potatoes

These roasted potatoes are very simple to make, my daughters gave a little twist to simple roasted potatoes by adding a topping on them but believe me it turned out extremely good , i always  encourage my daughters to try out something different with their own ideas and imaginations they always surprised me with more tastier and innovative dishes do you also do that ???must share some of your little ones creations with me ..

Apple korma

Another exotic apple dish , apples are very healthy try to include apples in lots of ways in your regular healthy dite .. Apple korma


What all we required:

For apples

4 ....big golden apples
2 cup water ......to boil

Cut apples into cubes and boil in 2 cup of water till they become little soft , you can steam or microwave also if you want . My apples where little hard so I used boiling method , you can decide this yourself if your apples are soft then you can steam or sauté , even micro is a good option .

Crumbled cottage cheese curry/ paneer burji

A very simple cottage cheese preparation ,crumbled cottage cheese can be used as a sandwich stuffing or for baking also, can be used as a side dish for lunch or dinner meals . Can be serve with any Indian bread .

For crumbled cottage cheese
What all we need :
Paneer/ cottage cheese ....... 1cup
Green chilli .............2
Green Coriander ......1/2 bunch
Onion ...............2 big
Tomato ..............2 big
Red chilli powder ..... As per taste
Salt ........as required
Jeera / carom seeds..... 1/2 tsp

Method :
Chop onion , green chilli , coriander and tomatoes and keep aside . Crumbled paneer and keep aside , heat oil in a pan add jeera stir for few min and add chopped onion & green chilli in it mix well till light golden in colour add crumbled paneer and mix well add tomatoes and all dry masalas , cook for some time and finish with chopped coriander . Use this as a filling for crepe or eat it with any Indian bread

As you all aware goodness of soybean. Soyabean is the richest plant source of protein. It contains 43 percent protein as compared to other legumes which contain 20 to 25 percent protein. Soy protein is also of the highest quality among all legumes.Include soybean in daily diet is essential . Try this Indian version of soyebean curry 


Soybean dry curry


3/4 cup soya granules
1 tsp cumin seeds (jeera)
1/4 tsp asafoetida (hing)
1 tsp grated ginger (adrak)
1 to 2 green chillies

Shahi Bitter gourd / muglai kerele

WE NEED:

Karela / bitter guard ........ 4-5 mid size
Onion................ 3 big
Green chili...........2
Garlic ................7-8 cloves, crushed  
Tomatoes ..........3 big
Cumin seed.........1/2 tsp
Fennel seeds powder......1/2 tsp
Coriander powder............1/2 tsp
Red chili powder...............1/4 tsp or as per taste
Turmeric powder..............1/4 tsp
Salt ....as per taste
Tamarind paste ..............1 1/2 tsp

Sunday breakfast !! I generally take time to think what to make on Sunday mornings because Sunday is the only day when my family sits together for breakfast ....and they all wait for Sundays because I always make something special of their choice on Sundays .I will reveal my secret to you, I always try to make something very healthy witch is also very tasty so that at least once a week I make them eat a very healthy breakfast .... And this breakfast recipe is a bundle of protein
